Abstract

Latar belakang: Jumlah pasien TB di Indonesia merupakan ke-3
terbanyak di dunia setelah India dan Cina dengan jumlah pasien 
sekitar 10% dari total jumlah pasien TB di dunia. Konsekuensinya
diperlukan pengobatan TB yang teratur dengan DOTS agar pasien
sembuh. Keterlibatan dan kinerja pengawas minum obat yang baik
sangat diperlukan agar pengobatan TB dengan DOTS berhasil.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kinerja
Pengawas Menelan Obat (PMO) dengan keberhasilan pengobatan
TB Paru dengan DOTS di RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang.
